YCC is a creative house, media network, and production company built for the voices that don’t get passed the mic. We create unapologetic platforms, provide full-service production, and power cultural conversations with no filter, no fluff, and no begging for permission.

We’re rooted in real talk, layered storytelling, and giving raw voices a place to be loud, messy, brilliant—and heard.

How We Started

YCC was founded out of necessity—not luxury.
It started with a single podcast, recorded in a free room at Montclair Library. Then came guests, then came vision, then came the empire. We didn’t wait to be discovered—we built the cameras, set up the lights, and hit record ourselves.

From DIY shows to multi-platform production, we’ve always stood on the same truth:
We don’t just talk about culture—we create it.

The YCC Network

We produce and platform shows for the loud, the layered, and the left-out:

  • Our Sins and Woes – Where mistakes get confessed and complaints get clowned. It’s raw talk about the chaos we cause and the drama we create—funny, foul, and real enough to hurt a little.

  • Blerd Watch – A Black nerd podcast reviewing movies, rating TV shows, spotlighting actors, and breaking down fandoms—with zero filter and full passion

  • Lime Light Vibes – Weekly in-person + livestreamed open mic for raw talent

  • 2 Protest or 2 Riot (Coming Soon) – A political/news podcast asking: is it time for discourse, or disruption?

(Past projects like Protest and Riot, Tunes and Tantrums, The Sticks, and Rap N Wrestle helped shape our early identity, but have since concluded.)

What We Believe
